This project focused on developing a product advertisement along with the branding for a fictional company called Cosmic Coffee. I wanted the brand to feel less corporate and more playful and welcoming, so I used soft edges and rounded shapes throughout the logo design. The main graphic centers on a large “C” that wraps around the word Cosmic, with repeated circular forms that suggest a galaxy or wormhole. I paired a handwritten-style type treatment for Cosmic with a sharp sans serif for Coffee Co. to balance personality with clarity. For the advertisement poster, I built a space-themed composition featuring the coffee product floating among its ingredients, with the headline Flavor Out of This World to introduce the new drinks in a fun and memorable way. Smoke effects were added to guide the viewer’s eye through the composition. The most challenging part was creating the product image itself, which required combining many separate image elements in Adobe Photoshop so they looked seamless. This project taught me several new photo-editing techniques and strengthened my understanding of brand identity through advertising. park branding used at the time, while keeping the designs unified through consistent shapes and typography.
