This project focused on creating an infographic about the history and growth of first-person shooter games, a subject I chose because I was playing a lot of FPS titles at the time and wanted to explore how the genre became so influential. The infographic traces the development of FPS games and highlights some of the most popular titles during that period, including Valorant, Counter-Strike, Apex Legends, Call of Duty, and Overwatch. Because this was one of the first infographics I created, it became an important learning experience in both layout and visual hierarchy. I focused on designing the composition so the viewer’s eye would naturally move down the page in a clear and engaging way while still keeping the information visually interesting. To help the graphics stand out against a dark background, I used warm oranges and cool blues to create contrast, depth, and layered visual energy throughout the piece. This project strengthened my confidence in Adobe Illustrator and helped me better understand how color, spacing, and illustration can work together to make complex information easier to follow.
